Reservations:

Credit card and first night’s room and tax deposit is required at time of booking.

Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund. Reservations cancelled past the cancellation window will be charged for the first night’s room and tax cancellation fee.

*Please note that promotional rates and packages must be paid in advance and are not refundable.

All reservations are subject to an 8% Montana lodging tax.

A resort fee of $35 daily is included in the nightly price. Rock Creek has a $35 nightly Resort Fee per room, which includes: in-room coffee service, reusable water bottles for your stay and refill stations throughout the property, fly fishing equipment and tackle for our stocked casting pond, mountain bike rentals and hiking essentials (poles, maps, canteens) based on availability, pool access featuring sauna with towel service, seasonal yard games, and convenient shuttle service to both Red Lodge Mountain and downtown Red Lodge (seasonal and subject to availability).

Guests must be 18 or older to check in.

Please note that key holidays and event dates may be subject to a nightly minimum. We recommend checking our booking engine for details.
Shieka Cabin requires a 2-night minimum year-round.

Please contact the website where your original reservation was created to make changes to your stay. These changes will then be reflected in our system.

General:

Check-in time is 3:00pm. Check-out time is 11:00am.

Rock Creek is approximately one hour and 30 minutes from Billings-Logan International Airport (BIL). We do not provide airport shuttle service at this time.

WiFi is available as part of our resort fee which is $35 per room per night.

We have multiple self-parking lots on the property. We currently do not offer valet services.

Dogs are welcome at Rock Creek as part of our Pup Package for a non-refundable fee of $35 per night. Dog-friendly rooms are limited and based on availability, so advance reservations are required. There is a maximum of two dogs per room. We happily welcome four-legged guests without weight, height, or breed restrictions.

  1. Basic Requirements. All dogs must be trained, housebroken, and vaccinated and must always be on a leash or crated (or in a similar enclosure), except when in your guest room. All dogs must comply with all applicable rules, laws and regulations, including any health and safety requirements in Red Lodge, MT. A maximum of two dogs are permitted in any guest room.
  2. Pet Fee Required. A non-refundable, Pet Fee of $35 per night will be charged to your guest room.
  3. Unattended Pets. Housekeeping or other services will not be provided if your dog is left unattended in your room. This is for the safety of your pet and our team members. Please contact the front desk to schedule a convenient time for servicing when you are present.
  4. Noisy or Disturbing Pet. If your dog becomes a nuisance or disturbance to other Hotel guests or the Hotel’s staff, we will have no other choice but to (a) require you to find other accommodations for your pet immediately upon notice or (b) cancel your reservation and ask you to depart the Hotel.
  5. No Admittance. While dogs are welcome at the Hotel, dogs are not allowed in the following locations at the Hotel: Restaurants, Hot Tubs, Spa. We may amend this list from time to time as necessary. This exclusion does not apply to any ADA certified service animals.
  6. Responsibility for Claims. You are responsible for all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, fines, penalties, costs and expenses (“Claims”), including property damage and personal injury, arising out of, caused by, or resulting from your pet’s presence at the Hotel. You agree that we may charge your guest room for any such damages.
  7. Indemnity. You will indemnify, defend and hold Rock Creek, Columbia Hospitality, Inc., their affiliates and subsidiaries and each of their owners, members, directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents from and against any and all Claims arising out of, caused by, or resulting from your pet’s presence at the Hotel.
  8. ADA Commitment. We are committed to complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act and nothing in this policy is intended to affect our commitment and our legal obligation to do so.

Yes, we happily offer pet-free rooms to those with allergies.

We would be happy to store your luggage for you at the front desk.

Several of our room types include sofa sleeper options. For full bedding configurations, please refer to our Rooms page. Rollaway beds and Pack ’n Plays are also available upon request. Absolutely! You do not have to be a guest to dine at Old Piney Dell or Wild Rose.

We do not have a fitness center on the property, but Well Approach Fitness in Red Lodge offers day passes.

We do not have a formal business center; however, there are numerous spaces across the property available for remote working with your own equipment.

Yes, our heated, indoor pool is open year-round from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. We also have two saunas; one near the pool and one creekside.

We do not offer childcare services at Rock Creek Resort. For assistance finding local childcare options, please contact our guest services team at info@rockcreekresort.com.

Things To Do:

There are numerous iconic attractions near Rock Creek Resort. Just beyond the resort, the Beartooth Highway winds its way through alpine lakes, glacial peaks, and dramatic switchbacks. Often called “the most beautiful drive in America,” it’s a breathtaking journey into Montana’s high country. In the summer, Yellowstone National Park is just beyond the Beartooth Highway offering geothermal wonders, diverse ecosystems, and abundant wildlife. The charming small town of Red Lodge is 10 minutes north, with dining, shopping, and local experiences and attractions.
