When Pepi Gramshammer and his wife Sheika of Innsbruck, Austria
came to the area in the 1960s they fell in love with the mountains.
Pepi, a championship skier, started a ski racing camp which
allowed him to return to this area every year. Then in the early
1970s Pepi decided to share his love of Rock Creek and its unique
beauty by building the Grizzly Condos to house the ski racers.
Over the following years other additions were made with the
Rock Creek Townhomes, Stoney Cabin, and finally in 1990 the
Beartooth Lodge, thus creating Rock Creek Resort. He added to
the already abundant recreational opportunities with tennis
courts, playground and soccer field.
In 1995 the Twin Elk building was added to the resort. This 10,000
square foot log building includes apartments, conference rooms and a
retail store featuring gifts, clothing, furniture, art and fine
collectibles.
Rock Creek Resort continues to offer the finest in accommodations and
dining, in virtually undiscovered and exceptionally beautiful
surroundings. Pepi and all the staff at Rock Creek Resort welcome you!
